What they say...

The facility will also be a destination of choice for many others, where people develop new skills, leadership and team work within a high performance environment.

Jonathan Ford, Chief Executive, FA Wales

The new development centre in Newport is one of the most important advances in the history of Welsh football.

The best footballing countries like France and Spain have their own centres for development and have enjoyed huge international success.

As a country we have seen some great players emerge from Wales and now we have the likes of Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey and Joe Allen. With this first class facility we will see more top quality players come through the system. We had nothing like this in my day so this is a massive boost.

Chris Coleman, National Team Manager.
